Lawmakers Will Address 196 Issues During Special Session

Originally, the purpose of the session was to focus on economic development and jobs. It has now mushroomed to include items like school prayer and terrorism. Legislators made more than 400 requests for their particular pet interests to be included. 196 items made the cut. The first 30 or so are the governor's specific requests, mostly to spawn economic development. More>>
